Mountain formal attire and suggestions

For the gentlemen:

Dress pants or slacks paired with a button-down shirt and blazer or sport coat. Ties are optional. Cowboy boots, dress shoes, or loafers are all welcome.

For the ladies:

Dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy separates are perfect. Feel free to embrace the mountain setting with boots, ankle boots, or comfortable dress shoes. A stylish shawl, wrap, or jacket is recommended for cooler mountain evenings.

A note on footwear:

The ceremony and reception will take place outdoors on grassy and uneven terrain, so we recommend choosing footwear that is comfortable and easy to walk in. Cowboy boots, wedges, block heels, and flats are great options; stilettos are not recommended.

October in Crested Butte can be quite cold, especially in the afternoon and evening, so please plan accordingly and bring warm layers. We want everyone to be comfortable throughout the celebration!
